Become an Art Sponsor

Support the Arts in Gainesville

Show your support for the arts in Alachua County by becoming an Art Sponsor at the 42nd Annual Downtown Festival & Art Show.  As an Art Sponsor, you can award a ribbon to your favorite artist at the festival after purchasing one of their pieces.

How it works:
1. Pledge to buy some art:
You can join our Art Sponsor program by pledging to spend $50 or more on a work of art. Art Sponsor programs encourage folks to buy art, recognizes art collectors, & awards artists who are popular with collectors.

2. Shop the Festival: Everyone who pledges in advance to buy art through the Art Sponsor program can pick up a ribbon from the info booth when they arrive at the festival. Then you shop for a piece! You can shop anytime the festival is open, November 18th or 19th.

3. Buy art, award your ribbon:  When you make a purchase, you can award your ribbon to the artist(s) you buy from. The artist is happy because they sold their work and get to display a ribbon that says so, and you are happy because you purchased a piece you love and had the chance to recognize and celebrate an artist whose work you admire! Art sponsors also get shout outs from the main stage throughout the festival.

Becoming an Art Sponsor is easy.  Just complete the Art Sponsor Pledge Form or use the embedded form below to sign up. On November 18th or 19th, join us to choose and purchase your unique piece or art from one of our 200 fine artists!

To request a paper copy of the pledge form, contact the Festival Coordinator at 352-393-8543, or open the attached form below.
